As most of you know by now Japan got hit, first by an earth quake and then by a tsunami.
With a 10 meter high wave traveling at 500mph the 1362000 residence of Sendai didn't stand a chance.
Below-thanks to the BBC-are pictures of unbridled devastation, a surreal reminder that we have to make the most of the here and now, who knows what's around the corner.
